Structural Composition:

The Pilot Operated Cartridge Relief Valve is a hydraulic control valve widely used in hydraulic systems. The Pilot Operated Cartridge Relief Valve is mainly composed of a pilot valve and a main valve. The pilot valve is a cone valve, which is used to control the opening and closing of the main valve; the main valve is also a cone valve, which is responsible for regulating the flow and pressure of the oil.


OPERATION:

  • When the inlet pressure is low: the inlet pressure acts on the main valve core, and the generated liquid pressure is less than the main valve core spring force. The main valve core is in a closed state under the action of the spring, and the inlet and outlet oil ports are blocked, and there is no overflow.

  • Inlet pressure increases: When the inlet pressure increases to the set pressure of the pilot valve, the pilot valve opens, and the pressure oil enters the upper chamber of the main valve core through the damping hole, causing the pressure in the upper chamber to increase. Since the area of the upper chamber is larger than that of the lower chamber, the liquid pressure in the upper chamber of the main valve core is greater than the sum of the liquid pressure in the lower chamber and the spring force, the main valve core opens, and the oil flows back to the oil tank from the overflow port of the main valve core, achieving overflow and pressure stabilization.
