Product Introduction：
JRD04-01 Direct Acting Cartridge Relief Valve is a hydraulic pressure control element that achieves pressure regulation by directly balancing the spring force with the system pressure. When the oil pressure exceeds the spring setting value, the valve core moves, opens the overflow channel to release pressure, and protects the system safety. It has a simple structure, including a valve body, a valve core, a pressure regulating spring and an adjustment mechanism. It has a fast response speed, but is limited by the spring stiffness. It is mostly used in low and medium pressure (≤40MPa) and small flow scenarios. It is commonly used in safety protection, pressure stability or back pressure control, low cost and easy maintenance.
OPERATION Of Direct Acting Cartridge Relief Valve：
The Direct Acting Cartridge Relief Valve works on the principle that the hydraulic pressure on the valve core is balanced with the spring force. When the system pressure is low, the hydraulic pressure acting on the valve core is less than the spring force, and the valve core is in a closed state under the action of the spring force. The oil cannot overflow through the relief valve, and the system pressure increases with the increase of load.
When the system pressure rises to exceed the set pressure of the spring, the hydraulic pressure overcomes the spring force, causing the valve core to open, and the oil flows back to the oil tank through the Direct Acting Cartridge Relief Valve, thereby limiting the system pressure from continuing to rise and keeping it near the pressure set by the spring.
