Product Introduction:
The JPP08-01 is a pilot operated, sliding spool, adjustable cartridge type pressure reducing relieving valve. This Pilot Operated Pressure Reducing Relieving Valve maintains a constant secondary (lower) pressure in hydraulic subsystems regardless of pressure variations in the primary system. In addition to the reducing function, this valve also provides a flow path from the reduced pressure port to the tank port. If pressure in the secondary circuit exceeds the desired pressure, the valve opens this flow path to relieve excess pressure to tank.
OPERATION:
JPP08-01 Pilot Operated Pressure Reducing Relieving Valve, in steady state, allows oil flow in both directions ② and ①, while the spring chamber is kept draining at port ③. When the pressure at ① reaches the preset value of the valve, the valve core moves to limit the oil flow at ②, thereby regulating the pressure at ①. In this mode, the valve can also drain oil from ① to ③.
Flow path: When reducing pressure: from ② to ①; when overflowing: from ① to ③.
